This pet food brand wanted an email journey with lots of helpful pet nutrition advice for their new customers

Who is the client?

Burns Pet Nutrition are an established pet food brand who have been creating delicious and nutritious food for pets for over 30 years. I’ve worked with these guys in the past, and they’re an incredible company. They support charities, community projects and rescue centres all over the country (including the place I got my rescue dog!) and they care about the quality of their products.

Why did they hire me?

I’ve worked with Burns and several other pet industry peeps for years. When it came to this project, they knew I’d have the knowledge and creativity they needed to create a great email journey that gets clicks.

How did I approach the project?

I’m a creative email copywriter at heart, and I have lots of experience in the pet industry to back up my creativity. I talked to their in-house doggy nutrition team before starting the project, gathering as much information as I needed to write.

What were the results?

The email journey I created introduced Burns as a long-established pet nutrition brand. It also advertised their products and services and included helpful advice about dog and cat nutrition. These B2C emails definitely clicked with the target audience, and some even called up Burns pet nutrition line to ask for free advice about their pet.
